Who will McCain's running mate be? Beck seems to think it will be Romney. I do not know who it should be, but I wish it was Rudy G. Giuliani is not going to be the pick so I really don't know who else I personally want to take the VP spot. Condoleezza Rice seems like a good choice, but she is to involved with the Bush administration and I think people will see that more then the positives. General Petraeus would be awesome, but I think he is kinda busy with a war.
Anyone want to buy the domain vprudy.com ? I bought it after Florida, because he was my first choice for President and VP. I am kinda joking, but if you want it tell me.

McCain , Obama , Hillary ...... on WWE ?
John McCain's response to Obama and Hillary's wrestling campaign. There was some sort of Obama vs. Clinton skit put on by the WWE (wrestling) in Greenville, SC which is where this all started. I think this was a clean and interesting way for the candidates to compete. The video is cheesy, but I liked it and think he and the democratic hopefuls did a good job.
McCain voicing his disapproval of the attack ad that aired in NC, Senator John McCain said on April 23, 2008 that the ad in NC "crosses the line of negative campaigning" and is "not representative of the type of campaign he wants to run in NC or the country."
Hillary Clinton speaking on CNN. The video has been edited, but I do not know to what extent. It's a pretty good rip on Obama, but she probably lost some party support with her little endorsement of McCain. I think its funny personally. Everyone can agree this has been an interesting election and looks to be different then any other before.

High Gas Prices, Time for an alternative Energy Source
Ethanol, nuclear, electric, coal, hydrogen, solar, wind, and fossil fuels are just a few of the many different sources of energy we use. Gas prices are soring, and climate change (global warming) is quickly becoming one of the world's biggest issues. In our quest for alternative fuels we have fueled a world hunger plague. Prices for everyday food items have skyrocketed, and many places in the world are simply not getting enough supply to meet the demand. Think about this concept for a minute, we are paying more for food items to save a $.75 a gallon. I bet the food cost outweighs the saving on fuel! We are not fixing anything, except political opinion! Is the feeling of saving money by using ethanol worth the peoples lives who will starve because the lack of crops coming from America? Not to me.
What are our other options and which ones might actually work? Electric power can be used for automobiles, but currently they have to be charged often or be combined with a combustion engine, which runs on fossil fuels. Furthermore, the power you use to charge your batteries is being produced by coal, hydro-power, nuclear, and a maybe a small amount of wind power or solar power. So electric is an option, but until the electricity being delivered to your home is totally renewable and clean we are just prolonging the inevitable. Solar has been tested in cars, but that little problem of night and clouds, kinda puts a damper on this source. Solar currently is very expensive too, but maybe in the current future this source could help power our homes, thus charging our electric cars. Wind power will help to produce the clean energy of the future for your home too. I have long wondered if you could put a "windmill" on your car that would charge your batteries as you drive. Maybe this idea has been tried, but if not you heard it here. Hydrogen fuel cells are the best option at this time for automobiles in my opinion. There are hydrogen cars on the road now! It does take some electricity or fossil fuel use to make it currently, but I think future technology will make the use of other fuels to make hydrogen obsolete. There are many options, but I think that is contributing to the problem because farmers push ethanol, activists just want to complain, not contribute towards making anything actually happen, and OPEC buys anyone who wants to try something new. People go with what benefits them the most now, giving little thought to the future.
After watching Glen Beck show tonight, Monday, April 28th, 2008. My opinion on coal and its possibilities have changed from a few days ago when I wrote this post. Click on the link in this paragraph and see why, and I will try and write another post on this soon.
What is your opinion on future energy sources, which one do you think we should be pursuing now?

Chesterfield High School:Bombing Plot Thwarted
Chesterfield High School is in a little town in northeast South Carolina. A student at the school, Ryan Schallenberger, was planning to bomb the high school with enough ammonium nitrate to level most of the school. He had ten pounds delivered to his house, which his parents found along with his journal luckily! If his parents had not turned him this could have been the worst school tragedy in history. The local rumor is more then just one person was involved in this plot. This student is rumored to be a better candidate then Schallenberger for such a plot, in terms of he was not top in his class and may have had some problems. I have heard this person has not been located yet and has been missing for a couple days.
I am from Cheraw and am very familiar with Chesterfield, because the two towns are only about 15 miles apart. This is especially scary for me because my little brother is in high school still and has friends that go to chesterfield high. I think the Chesterfield county law enforcement has done a good job handling this situation. There are a bunch of good people in this counties law enforcement agency, but I hope this makes them turn more attention to things like this, instead of petty things most teenagers get into at one time or another. If the parents had not have turned their son in, today could have been a lot worse.

Anti McCain ad by foe action, seriously?
I wonder what Obama and Hillary are doing for the Oil companies? I bet it is similar to Lewinsky's actions with former president Bill Clinton then John McCain catering to the 0il industry. This is an ad I just saw on CNN this afternoon. I am going to add to this post later today, but for the mean time I wanted to share this ridiculous ad by foeaction.org. I am all for Nuclear power and I am going to tell you why, after a little more research unlike foeaction.org, you should be too.

Brazil Oil Field and surging Gas prices
Oil prices surge today even as news of a deep water oil field found in Brazil breaks. The oil field is estimated to contain as much as 33 billion barrels of petroleum. Light, sweet crude has taken the place of gold and silver as a measure of wealth and power for the worlds countries. Brazil's current proven oil reserves are about 11.8 billion barrels, while The United States current oil reserves are 21.8 billion barrels. The discovery of the Tupi oil field in Brazil, a couple of years back, put Brazil on the map as a major player in the oil game. This discovery could make it the third biggest player in the world.

Recent reports have pulled back from the initial 33 billion estimate, citing they need more evidence to make such claims, but 5 billion barrels seems to be a pretty safe bet for now. Petroleo Brasileiro shares rose close to $125 early this week after this was released. Carioca and Sugarloaf Mountain are the speculated areas of the deep water petroleum fields. Petrobras is a state-run oil company highly regarded for its deep water drilling.

McCain: Support our Troops and their Mission
......At the beginning of last year, we were engaged in a great debate about what to do in Iraq. Four years of mismanaged war had brought us almost to the point of no return. Sectarian violence in Iraq was spiraling out of control, life had become a struggle for survival, and a full-scale civil war seemed almost unavoidable. Al Qaeda in Iraq was on the offensive and entire Iraqi provinces were under the control of extremists. However, rather than retreat from Iraq and face the terrible consequences that would ensue, we chose to change strategies and turn things around. I was proud to be an outspoken advocate for this change in strategy and endured much criticism from members of both parties. As I've said time and time again, I'd rather lose a campaign than lose a war.
I am including some pictures in hopes that some people who have forgotten then recent past will remember why! This same strategy has been worn out by supporters of the war, but do you remember what happened last time U.S. soil was attacked (one of the fifty states, not an embassy)? I think we handle it a little better this time, you know precision guided nuke free weapons. I know that Iraq was not directly involved in 9/11, but they could be involved in 9/11/09 if we give up now. Compare this war with the past wars we have been involved in; compare the numbers, reasons for going, and think about the possible future of the Iraq people compared to the Saddam era. Things have been handled wrong, and that is slowly changing. Leaving Iraq in shambles and with only a half ready government structure will only give the next tyrant an open invitation. Whether we should have "started the war" or not is no longer an issues because that is history, but shouldn't we at least finish it the right way. If you think it will be better for either side for the United States to pack up and leave tomorrow please tell me why.
The following is part of an email/article from John McCain.
........The American people deserve the truth from their leaders. Doing the right thing in the heat of a political campaign is not always the easiest thing. But when 4,000 Americans have given their lives so that America does not suffer the worst consequences of our failure in Iraq, it is a necessary thing. In such a grave matter, we must put the nation's interests before our own ambitions....
Hillary Clinton or Barack Obama vs. John McCain
One cannot help but be fascinated by this year's presidential election no matter what side you sit on Republican or Democrat. Whatever the outcome in November, a sitting U.S. Senator will be our next President. We could have a former First Lady, an African American or a former POW as our President. Each candidate in his or her own way will be making history. And the important thing about that history making precedent, it's the American people who get to make the final decision.

McCain has ‘work to do’ with gun owners: NRA
If Sen. John McCain expects the support of gun owners in this year’s presidential race, the Arizona Republican must make an effort to overcome some decisions the National Rifle Association (NRA) has found troubling.“John McCain still has some work to do to give them a comfort level,” Chris Cox, executive director of the NRA, said during an interview with The Hill. “Truth be told, he’s not there yet.”Cox said McCain and the anti-gun control group have endured some “high-profile disagreements” in the last several years that have left many gun owners concerned about his candidacy.
