Change? Believe everything you hear?

Obama and Bowden Change you can't believe in. I found this picture on tigernet, a site dedicated to Clemson Sports. I am a huge Clemson fan and was in Atlanta this weekend for Alabama's butt kicking of Clemson and have seen enough. I just wanted to share this picture. For those who don't know the guy behind Barack Obama, here is the link: Tommy Bowden.

Update September 16th, 2008:

"We’re going out full pads, and there’ll be a lot of contact today," Bowden said during his weekly media briefing. "If somebody gets hurt, they get hurt. We’ve got to get better.

"We’ll make them feel that sense of urgency."

At least he seems to be showing a little more backbone, if T.B would have a do whatever it takes attitude more often I would not have a complaint about him. I hope he does not do like he did against the Citadel and try to keep the score down against SC state this weekend. We need to play as hard as we can until the end of the fourth quarter. The team and fans need confidence!

Thanks for the nice comments and feel free to email and post The Obama / Bowden picture anywhere! Here is a recent quote from Tommy Bowden that makes my blood boil. “If they win, you have to monitor the overconfidence factor. If they lose, it’s the negative factor,” Bowden said. “You’ve played five games, the season’s over, the sky is falling. You can’t accomplish anything with the high expectations that we had.”
If you can't accomplish anything with high expectations then why did you get a huge pay raise and contract extension? Maybe if Tommy Bowden took a pay cut the expectations would be easier for him to live up to!
