Oil and Gas prices could get cheaper if McCain picks Sarah Palin as his Vice President. McCain's choice of a VP has become a media frenzy over the past week with everyone guessing as to who it will be. Thanks to a comment by Night Owl I have been following Sarah Palin and I am very impressed. If she was currently running for president, she would have my vote over both McCain and Obama. Sarah Palin is the Governor of Alaska. Who would be better to have in a time of soring oil prices? Shes for drilling for oil in ANWR along with most of the Alaskan population, who have the highest gas prices in the nation. Palin seems more conservative then McCain, which will help strengthen support from his base. I want someone who will do more and talk less, I think Sarah Palin will. Palin may be a long shot, but if she is involved in the 2008 Presidential election, we will have lower oil costs and maybe a working government. Oil and Gas prices will continue to climb in the future, but how fast they do will depend on the 2008 election. The economy will be crushed if we see gas prices of $5, $7, and eventually $10 dollars a gallon during the next presidents time. If you vote for Obama or are against drilling to help sustain our way of life (until another form of energy is ready to take the place of gas) I hope you own a bicycle or are filthy rich. I have converted a power point about drilling in ANWAR to a video, and posted it below. It may play too fast, but you can pause it. It puts the liberal bullshit to bed.

More than agree with you!
McCain/Pain '08
Palin/ ? '12
How about Palin/Jindal '12? :)
If you've been following my blog - you know I'm no McCain supporter. But, I must say, if he goes with Palin as a VP - I might really consider voting for him.
Good post!
Reunionpi:
I did not find the automobile details you referred to because there is so much on your page, but I looked around and found the Fox News CEO political contributions very interesting. Makes me wonder if all news will soon lean towards the left.
Ted and Night Owl:
Sarah Palin/? for president in 2012? I don't know who I would want to run for VP with her. Palin / Jindal would suit me fine, but would he be considered to young or inexperienced to be paired with Palin? This is just a suggestion with no real political thought behind it, how about Palin and General David Howell Petraeus?
The Bobo:
I am not an avid fan of McCain as I have said before, but he is the best of the bad candidates for President in 2008.
Thank you all for commenting!
I really do not know that much about her, yet, but from what I read, he certainly can do much worse with a few others that are being tossed around as "potential choices" by the talking heads. If she is on the short list, shouldn't she be trying to gain more media attention immediately to further her national name recognition?
How soon before the first drill goes in the ground do we start to feel any relief at the pumps? How about YEARS? This is such typical misinformation coming from the right. Do we need to do something? Of course we do. But the way you people are saying it is that if we even just agree to start drilling that we'll be back to under $3/gallon gas practically overnight and that's just not even remotely the case. Is a little bit of honesty too much to ask? But I guess that's just my liberal bullshit talking.
I like Sarah Palin, but don't think she has much national appeal. If Americans continue to feel the pressure at the pump, and Democrats keep up this nonsense with offshore drilling, a VP candidate, who will also get the female votes and will be able to speak firsthand about drilling will win over the mainstream.
However, they may feel that Alaska isn't a big enough market for her name recognition and be turned off by her disagreement with McCain over ANWR. I'm sure there are some that still feel a woman would hurt the ticket, although I think those folks are even less numerous than the ones voting against Obama due to his race. The ones voting for Obama because of his race are a different story though...
Nice blog, keep up the good work :)
